The CL57Y-V20 is an enhanced version of the CL57Y closed-loop stepper driver, designed to deliver greater versatility and ease of use. Key improvements include a selectable 5V/24V logic voltage selector, an RS232 debugging port (replacing the USB interface), and more stable 3.3V pulse signal reception.
Operating within a voltage input range of 24–50 VDC and a current range of 0–7.0 A, the driver offers robust and precise control for NEMA 17, 23, and 24 stepper motors, making it suitable for a wide variety of motion control applications.
The driver incorporates a 32-bit DSP and power angle vector control technology, enabling motor speeds exceeding 3000 rpm. Compared to traditional open-loop drives, it significantly reduces torque drop at high speeds, enhancing both motor performance and torque utilization for improved machining efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, load-based current regulation helps minimize motor heating, extending motor service life. Built-in alarm output and position error monitoring functions further support safe and reliable system integration.
