The CL86Y-V20 is an upgraded version of the CL86Y, featuring a 5V/24V logic voltage selector and an RS232 debugging port replacing the USB port. This Y Series closed-loop stepper driver supports 0–8.5A and operates at 20–80VAC / 30–110VDC, designed for Nema 34 stepper motors.
Utilizing next-generation 32-bit DSP control and power angle vector control technology, it achieves speeds exceeding 3000rpm. Compared to standard open-loop drivers, it significantly reduces high-speed torque decay, enhancing motor performance and torque utilization, which improves machining efficiency and accuracy. Its load-based current control effectively lowers motor heating, extending motor lifespan. The built-in alarm output facilitates easy monitoring and control by the host system, while the position error alarm ensures safe operation of the equipment.
